Basic Function and Scope:

Performs a variety of support tasks in the school to assist faculty, the Vice Principal and the Principal. Functions in the capacity of clerical support and direct monitoring of students.

Duties Performed:

• Provides learning experiences while creating an environment that is conducive to student learning and involvement;
• Assists in monitoring students as directed;
• Demonstrates appreciation for and sensitivity to the diversity among individuals and strives to ensure equitable opportunities for student learning;
• Supervises children during recess, lunch or early morning periods outside;
• Supervises students in classrooms, library, theater or other areas of the building;
• Works closely with citizenship coordinators and counselors in all three schools, to discuss ways to deal with student behavior/issues;
• Proctoring examinations, ex MAP testing sessions, IB exams etc;
• Assists students with learning in small groups or one-on-one instructional sessions;
• Participates and improves professional competence through attendance of professional development events;
• Reads carefully, all related handbooks in each school, Elementary School, Middle School and the Academy, to ensure understanding of school procedures, policies, offerings etc.;
• Students' daily attendance, including monthly tardies, semester tardies, daily absences, cuts, semester absences, first and second semester seat recovery;
• In-school reflections (all day and lunch);
• Accumulate attendance reports through Skyward;
• Early dismissals and late arrivals;
• Daily morning SMS to parents;
• Assist with discipline routines, concerns, bathroom checks, and incidents;
• Responds to 2 different email accounts (academyattendance@acs.gr and your acs email account);
• Make-Up Exam Schedules;
• Yearbook Distribution.
• Locker Assignments.
• Other duties as assigned;

Work Contacts:

Daily contacts with other school personnel including the Director of the Learning Commons, the Principal, faculty, other aides as well as parents. Daily contact with students.

Independence of Operation:

All work is monitored by the Principal/VP.

Direct contact with students to maintain order, safety and optimal learning environment. Once routine work is explained, aide is expected to work efficiently, effectively and independently to complete the tasks.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field in education;
• English proficiency is required;
• A minimum of two years experience working with children ages 6-12 and/or 12-18 in education, preferably in groups;
• Strong communication skills;
• Technological literacy - use of online teaching platforms, virtual instruction;
• Commitment to remain current in content knowledge and teaching strategies;

Department: Elementary School

Reports to: Elementary School Principal

Coordinates lessons that align with grade level NGSS units and assists homeroom teachers with lab preparations, and provides support to students during class.

Description:

• Creates an interactive environment (face-2-face and virtually) that stimulates and engages student learning.
• Assists Elementary School teachers in supervision of laboratory practicals during science sessions.
• Familiar with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
• Creates cooperative teaching partnerships for creative STEAM lessons.
• Spearheads the first Elementary School Science Fair (face-2-face and virtually) for grades 3-5
• Sets up equipment, chemicals and supplies for science classes under the teacher's guidance or communication.
• Preparation of laboratory practicals, including set-up and breakdown as per teachers' instruction, testing such labs and equipment beforehand so as to ensure a successful learning experience.
• Ensures a safe work environment for handling chemical materials and glassware.
• Cleans up spills, and administers first aid related to chemical accidents as required.
• Maintains and repairs lab equipment such microscopes, power supplies etc..
• Overseas the inventory of lab equipment and chemical supplies including ordering and handling the required chemicals. Ensures adequate supply of equipment and materials is always available.
• Keeps track of materials borrowed by teachers and students.
• Keeps lab space tidy and organized by moving items back to their storage cabinets after each session.

About Us:

The 黑料不打烊 Tennis Academy is seeking a professional tennis coach for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025, with the possibility of immediate hire. Situated in an exclusive environment at the 黑料不打烊 campus, the academy boasts a professional coaching team of six coaches dedicated to nurturing talent across all ages and skill levels. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in our Athlete Development and High-Performance Program.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Tennis Lessons:

• Plan and deliver engaging tennis lessons tailored to the age and skill level of students.
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their technique, footwork, and overall game.

Develop Training Programs:

• Collaborate with the coaching team to design and implement comprehensive training programs for athletes participating in the academy's development and high-performance programs.
• Monitor the progress of students and adjust training plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.

Promote Sportsmanship and Character Development:

• Instill values of sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork among students, emphasizing the importance of fair play and positive attitudes on and off the court.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for students, fostering their personal growth and character development through the sport of tennis.

Assist with Academy Operations:

• Assist with organizing and coordinating tennis events, tournaments, and competitions hosted by the academy.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a tennis instructor or coach, preferably in a school or academy setting.
• Certification or accreditation as a tennis instructor or coach (national or international) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.
• Excellent knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Passion for working with children and young athletes, with a commitment to their holistic development.

Insurance:

The selected candidate must be capable of operating as a freelancer under TEVE insurance.

Contract Details:

This is a yearly contract with the possibility of renewal. The core duration spans from middle September to middle June, with potential additional responsibilities during the ACS Tennis Camp and ACS Summer Camp, typically from middle June to middle July.

• This is a part-time position; Ten hours per week, working on-site, September through June, €520 gross monthly.

Main Responsibilities:

• Liaison between the project stakeholders;
• Event planning; coordination and follow-up, coordinate venue selection, catering, accommodation and transportation;

Duties Performed:

• Is responsible for My Data entries and tax machines, ensuring all deadlines are met;
• Manages private retirement and health insurance programs, including enrollment and contributions;
• Maintains excellent knowledge of payroll systems, Ergani, and social security employer responsibilities;
• Provides guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff;
• Ensures compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements;

Minimum Requirements:
